It’s that time of the semester when you have to write your finals! That’s when the majority of students usually get overwhelmed, fatigued, worried, anxious, sleepless, and stressed out due to the tons of work. As a student, you can naturally go with the flow and embrace your friends’ behaviors; but as a Christian student, a changed attitude would make such a difference.
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid—John 20:21
What if you choose to be at peace in the midst of academic craziness because Jesus is in control? What if you choose to surrender all and trust Jesus even after flunking an exam? Imagine what testimony that can be to your peers as they see you being calm despite the storm!
I’m confident that a conduct like that would make people wonder and consequently ask questions, and that’s when you can use the opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ. Let’s be real, is it easy to adopt such a changed attitude? Absolutely not. Because we’re so used to feed from our surroundings’ energy. Well, that’s when the Holy Spirit comes in action: Do what the flesh cannot. Pray that God will strengthen you through His Spirit to do His will and glorify His name. If you’re serious about walking in holiness, the Lord will honor your obedience by making you an effectiveness testimony of Christ among your friends. Stay blessed ladies!
